Sponsor: James Andrews Jim, an award-winning self-taught artist,
has spent 40 years painting landscapes, seascapes, portraits and
wildlife, along with shipwrecks of the Great Lakes. He works in oils,
watercolor, pencil, or pen and ink. Jim also does woodcarving. His
artistry has been featured in Arts for the Parks and the World
Federation of Miniatures at the Smithsonian Institution. He has had
first place awards from Miniature Painters and Gravers Society of
Washington D.C. and the Mariposa Miniatures Exhibition. His work has
also been featured in Brumbacher’s Pallet Talk. Jim lives in Bellevue
with his wife of 55 years, Evelyn. They have five children and nine
grandchildren. He continues to be active in his community and work with
the Bellevue Society for the Arts.
