Darlene M. Wood
Darlene grew up in a Sandusky home where art and music played a major role and in high school, she won a Scholastic Art Award. She went on to study at the University of Toledo and completed a degree in art education and fine arts at The Ohio State University. Darlene taught art in the Sandusky Public Schools and later opened a preschool. Currently she spends much of her free time in her art studio at the Merry-Go-Round Museum and with her three grandchildren. Darlene also serves as Chairwoman of the Artistic Committee for this 2008 Light in the Harbor public art exhibit. She lives in Sandusky with her husband Craig.
